Review of Hendersonville, North Carolina

The Fall is to Die for
Star Rating - 11/11/2010
Our Family recently visited Hendersonville during the Fall season, what a beautiful place Hendersonville has become. The town is very cute and very busy considering the state of the economy, the people are very friendly and the scenery is incredible. Put this place on your bucket list.

Great. So watching trees turn colors and leaves fall off is a valid reason to move to any area? Extremes of poverty and wealth with no middle class. Nothing for kids/teens to do but drink, drug, have sex at age 14 and pop out multiple children by age 21. Jobs are service jobs. Bright kids are gone as soon as they can get out of this area. Fine for the over age 70 crowd, not fine for the young, young families, any well educated professional. Town is cute but aside from expensive restaurants there isn't anything else in "Historic" Hendersonville. Might ask the town council or economic developers what makes Hendersonville "historic". It's a joke marketing and works with "emerald green" waters of man made lakes like Lake Lure or Lake James-- highly polluted with heavy bacteria, sewage, chemicals. Won't bother discussing the police, sheriff or state troopers and the games they play. Avoid. Nothing here and no, you can see the mountains they the pollution.
