Delray is Terrific but not Flawless… - 6/20/2021
Delray Beach has become a premier destination, the cost of living is high and the real estate becoming one of the most expensive in the state.If you want a town feel, but not a city, if you’re bored with the burbs, this is THE place.It will cost you $$$$ to live downtown. But worth it if you are looking for beach .As far as Sober homes, the state of Florida has over 2500. I’ve only seen one on 6th ave and it closed in 2019. It was a beautiful building but real estate is a premium here and they’re probably going to sell if for residential or tourist use. If others are here, they are not in view or a problem. Crime is the same as any tourist destination densely populated town- mostly petty theft. The new hotels are glamorous and the beaches have rental chairs and umbrellas to lighten your carrying load to the beach.
