The “best kept secret” of Nature Coast region. - 3/16/2018
What a great place we are blessed to have found to spend the majority of our days.

So nice, clean, less crime than nearby Tampa or even of the Hernando bedroom communities (Spring Hill, etc.) and certainly much more clean and safe than most of Pasco County).

Enjoy the Mermaid show if you are a tourist or visiting family (a family-friendly show, showing such things as The Little Mermaid). Then take the kids to Buccaneer Bay to swim/raft.

Kayaking just down the road at nearby kayaking spots.

Plenty of pool homes to rent or buy.

If you like a more outdoorsy, do-it-yourself experience, there are plenty of opportunities for parks and recreation.

North Weeki Wachee may not have the big money places, like Tampa’s Busch Gardens nor other expensive “tourist traps,” but at least it is safe, clean and beautiful with more wildlife (manatees, tortoises, Sand Hill Cranes and Ibis), and less traffic than the nearby Read More
