Woodhaven - 12/5/2015
Woodhaven is a decent place to live. The section north of Jamaica Avenue is especially nice. It's a quiet neighborhood with large beautiful homes. I bought my house here a few years ago and have been very happy.

I have been a resident in woodhaven for the last 11 years. i came to this website to find a place to relocate to to get out of here. i find that living in woodhaven is way too stressful. i have 2 children and renting and we are forced to cram ourselves into a disgusting infested teeny studio apartment at 900/month because that is all we can afford even with both my husband and i working. the crime here is high and gangs hang out outside my building. we can't even order takeout in the evening because of the risk the delivery people take of getting mugged. the local public school where i am located is very overcrowded (30 people per kindergarten class)-- job growth is up-- but it is only for minimum wage part time jobs that you cannot pay your rent with after uncle sam takes a bite out of it. on many days i find myself fighting to get room on the sidewalk come rush hour. you cannot hear yourself think with all of the J trains, car alarms, firetrucks, ambulances, and loud music that is Read More
