Great Place to Raise a Family
Walkersville is a small, family-oriented town. The residents are friendly and involved in community events. The local sports programs for children are fantastic. There are wonderful community parks and plenty of activities for all ages, such as bingo, golf, recreation programs, etc... Every year around the Fourth of July the town has a carnival organized by the local fire company. This is truely a wonderful place to raise a family. Crime is also very low!
