You'd LOVE this town if you want small-town Americ
Ripon, known as the almond capital of the world, is a wonderful small, safe town to raise your kids in. The crime level is extremely low, the schools are good, the weather is terrific and the location can't be beat! We are half way between Yosemite and the ocean. When the almond blossoms are in bloom in mid-February it is stunning! (not to mention our wonderful Almond Blossom Festival) It's a town where everyone smiles and says "hello" still. Getting involved is easy and a positive experience. We have a brand new library, new veteran's museum, and are always working on ways to improve this community. My family moved here in 1993 and we absolutely love it.
