I grew up here.
I spent the first 35 years of my life in the Illinois Quad Cities. Most of the time was spent in Moline.
If you enjoy watersports, there are two rivers, and many lakes in the area to enjoy, along with plenty of fishing. There is plenty of hunting, deer season is popular.
If you like drinking, there are a ton of bars to visit, along with live music. There's casinos, if you want to gamble.
There are a lot of outdoor festivals in summer to enjoy.
Personally, I hated growing up here, because I don't do any of these things. Moved to Colorado for the mountains.
