Living in Long Beach If your health is a concern...forget living in Long Beach. I've lived here 10 years and will not drink the water, have asthma and have my home professionally cleaned once a week to remove the layer of shlar from the nearby gasoline refineries and port that collects on every horizonal surface in less than 24 hours.
