6/21/2009Outstanding town. Historic sites and architecture (as old as 1600s), top-tier art museum, great community center and parks, access to nearby ocean and bay beaches, schools that have been ranked top 10 in the nation at times, educated population and easy commute to NYC. It is near some of the best teaching hospitals within the USA and has access to NYC hospitals, which in some cases are even better. However, cost of living is quite high, the culture is socially progressive (that is, very difficult ad judgmental,) and somewhat ethnically homogeneous, given that it is near a large multiethnic city.
