11/12/2011While Fort Walton Beach does have some aggressive drivers, it won't be that experience since I-10 isn't located in Fort Walton Beach. In fact it is located about 30-40 minutes North of FWB, and very briefly passes Crestview. The average speed limit in FWB is 35mph.

2/24/2007Mary Esther is located right outside the main entrance to Hurlburt Field. It is centered approximately 4 miles from Fort Walton Beach to the East, and 4 miles from Navarre to the West. Mary Esther is a residential community comprised predominantly of single family homes. The main thoroughfare is US Highway 98 which runs east and west from Panama City straight through Pensacola, and runs parallel to the Intercoastal Waterway with views of the white sand dunes and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico along the way.
