10/24/2020I agree it is way too crowded. People should stop moving to central Texas altogether, we cannot handle any more people. but I love how conservative New Braunfels remains.

9/24/2020Yall stop moving to Bulverde, it is far out of the metro area, traffic is awful going into and out of town, and it is a rural area, they don't want more city folks pretending to be country.

9/24/2020the urban sprawl in San Antonio is pretty disgusting. Especially in the North side which is used to be so pretty and open, now it is just cookie cutter houses on hills that are no more. Hear me loud and clear if you are planning on moving to the Texas Hill Country, DONT. The water supply does not exist in these remote part of the Hill Country for city folks to live "country lives" , yall are laughable. You cannot enjoy living in the country with city amenities nearby because the urban sprawl will always find you. Do not move here thinking you are getting away from the city, you never will here.

4/20/2020As a fellow Native Texan from the Texas Hill Country, I love Boerne. However, it is not for everyone. Let me tell ya who ain't gonna like it here. If you think Boerne is just another suburb, nope, your wrong, you won't like it here. Boerne is a German-Texan town with a rich founding and history. If you dont like smaller towns where you will run into people you like you dislike all the time, DONT move here. If you come here for a place to live, but work in San Antonio, DONT move here. You are only making traffic worse on IH 10 and you will hate how long the commute it especially with traffic. If you vote democrat, you wont like Boerne or Kendall County. Kendall County, (Boerne is the County seat), voted over 77% for Trump in 2016. This is a conservative, true Texas town and if you dont like that stick to California or some other crappy state. And if you dont like Southern drawls, (yes we natives in the Hill Country do have em), then dont move here. And if you move to Small town Texas and do not respect the Southern and Texas way of life dont mover here, I produly fly a Confederate flag because it is history, dont like it stay out of Texas. Boerne is great the way it is and unofortunately it is being destoyed by overdevelopment from too many suburban people moving here thinkin its just another suburb. Stay away
