Dowagiac, MI

Raised in Dowagiac - 12/25/2008
I was raised as a child in Dowagiac and nearby areas. I think Dowagiac is a nice town. There are many great things that it has to offer, especially when it comes to the outdoors. Unfortunately Dowagiac, just as most cities in MI, is suffering from economical problems. I left the town when I was 21, and have been gone 8 years. I think all the time about moving back now that I have a family, but I am afraid to make the big move with the unemployment so high in the area. I didn't really appreciate what a great little town it is until I left and saw how things are in other places.
