Newport, OR
Moving from London, UK next Summer 2018 -
7/26/2017I came across this website, as my wife and I will be moving from London, UK to Oregon in order for my wife to be closer to her parents.
Needless to say it can be daunting beyond belief, upping and leaving a city like London for a quieter life. We have considered Eugene, but we also love the idea of Newport being on the coast. 10 years living in the chaos that is London City is enough to make anybody want to get away from it all.
I am interested to learn a little about job prospects in Newport. Ultimately we need to be within 2 hours of Florence, which is where my wife's parents reside.
My wife works in childcare, and I work in phone and email based customer service but both of us are bright individuals, not afraid to take on new challenges.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
