5/6/2007Before coming to LA, I had only lived in "real" cities, such as New York, so I had a very hard time adjusting to the suburban, automobile-centric nature of LA. West Hollywood made the transition easier because it is one of the few places in LA where you can actually walk to things. Also, it feels like a community. I know my neighbors, and run into the same people again and again when going for a walk. If you're moving to LA from another city, WeHo isn't a bad choice.
