Safe. Scenic. Serene. -
8/25/2021I’ve lived in Lake Forest Park for over 6 years, having been priced out of the Seattle area, and never looked back! After living in Queen Anne in Seattle, we were looking for a similar area with shops and restaurants close to the water and nature. We found LFP and fell in love. There aren’t a lot of food options other than the Town Center although the nearby Kenmore and Bothell areas have grown significantly, bringing in many popular restaurants like Poquitos, Revolv, Mod Pizza and many more. Restaurant apps make food delivery a breeze. We love it here since trees are protected, preserving the beauty of nature in this area.
Port Townsend, WA

8/25/2021I loved living in Port Townsend for about 20 years. It’s a quiet and safe town with several festivals, art, music, and more. The main economy is centered around tourism and the paper mill, so this makes starting a business here more challenging. Over the last few years, the population is skewing older with retired folks moving in due to good quality of life, the proximity to nature and the water and it being a relatively safe place to live out their golden years. If you’re looking for a low key place that is liberal, artistic, and comfortable, Port Townsend is it!
