re: Best Place I've Ever Lived By Far

3/29/2021Actually, the Tacoma Aroma is alive and well and I can smell it on warm days, or whenever the wind stops blowing. I live on Hilltop and it's really gross to open your door and be greeted by the odor. It might not be an everyday occurrence, but it is still something that happens. You can't smell it because you're a little further away where all the rich folks live.
The other thing I want to say is that pretty much the only good thing about Tacoma IS the food!! How can you say there are few good places to eat? There are so many amazing local restaurants and bars to choose from, from fine dining to little mom-and-pop dives! There are so many yummy eats and it has been really enjoyable exploring all the old local favorites and new ones that pop up every so often. Some places are really well hidden, but I am always surprised at how many options there are in our area! Waffle Stop has been my favorite breakfast place since it opened, but some of my other favorites are The Table, en Rama, Indochine, The Social, Corina Bakery, Engine House No. 9, Memo's, Shake Shake Shake, Cook's Tavern, and so much more!
