A Growing City and a friendly town ! -
10/14/2010Very nice town. I have not lived there in a long time, but it is my hometown. There is a new four year University there. Texas A&M @ Texarkana. This city compares with Longview and Tyler, but is smaller then those two East Texas towns. Very conservative, but a great place to come home to. The city has local bus service, Amtrak, Greyhound, and air service to D-FW four times a day.

3/8/2010Texarkana is a typical East Texas city. Conservative, but a nice place to raise a family. With Texas A & M Texarkana there, you now can complete your college education. The city is booming, take a drive down I-30. No, it will not ever be a Dallas or Houston, but it will continue to grow at a slow pace.
