10/9/2020I think I have the right to review this place since I lived here 19 years. I stuck it out to be stable for my kid bit really I should have moved where she could have experienced something better. Utah is beautiful but that’s it. The LDS community rule the state and look out for each other. If you are not LDS you are kinda left out. It’s hard for minorities because blacks make up leas than 1 percent of the population. The job market for me was bad that’s why I ended up leaving. For professional women it’s nit the best place to be. I don’t miss the bad air quality and state taxes. The public school system is horrible. I feel bad for the teachers and students. Not enough taxpayers because the Morman women stay home and take care of their kids. Yet I paid taxes for school districts and had my kid in private school. The U and Westminster are subpar schools. I wasn’t impressed with my higher education in Utah. I dislike Utah and I won’t be one that comes back.

10/9/2020Not what you think. I moved to San Diego in 2019 and left in 2020. Housing is horrible, meaning high priced and lack of. Lots of homelessness but I never left unsafe downtown where I lived. Not any nice housing areas in the area you have to go further north. High taxes and low wages. Dry as can be but the sun is nice and climate is mild. Terrible traffic from border. Wasn’t for me so I cut my losses and left quick. Not the best place to reside in CA. Also job market is weak.

10/9/2020Yes the driving is horrible here. I’ve had many near muss accidents and my daughter was involved in a horrible accident waiting for a traffic light. The weather is horrible and it is tougher than Seattle. I cannot wait to say goodbye.

Not So Great - Minnesota -
10/9/2020I have lived her 5 years and cannot wait to get out. This is the worst place I have ever lived. Taxes are high. You are taxed and assessed for any and everything. This is not a place for retirees. The winters are horrible and dangerous with the ice and low temps. The cost of living is high. The job market is stale. I find the state to be quite racist. It’s a tough place for black professionals.
