Life in Cecil-Bishop. -
12/13/2006I am a 19 year old, who has been leaving in Cecil-Bishop all my life. It is a fantastic place to grow up. I can't really compare it to other towns, since I've only lived here, but i know that it is a very tight knit community, which aids in raising very well rounded children. Even though I am in college now, my best friends are still from Cecil-Bishop and compared to so off the other people I've met here, Cecil-Bishop clearly has molded better young people. There is also a strong sense of community pride in Cecil-Bishop. When in high school we used to play "Bishop vs. the World" street hockey games, where our friends within Bishop, challenged all our friends outside of Cecil-Bishop to come and try to beat us on our home court of Cecil Park. I can assure you that such a travesty has never occurred and that Bishop still stands undefeated in all it's matches against the world. Those are the kinds of things I've come to expect from this community and I wouldn't want to have grown up anywhere else.
