Don't Move Here - 3/27/2013
There is no jobs. They are fighting even over the minimum wage ones. No real opportunity. The schools are horrible as well. Many parents are taking their kids out and homeschooling them. The community thrived off the coal mining industry, and now that is almost completely gone. Businesses have shut down, lots of folks filing bankrupt. The only people that seem to be doing well is the drug dealers. It's a black hole that sucks the life out of you, don't move here.

Keep To Yourself - 3/26/2013
Lived there for a short time and caught on really fast. Big Bible belt community, but the only problem is a lot of the ones I encountered were narrow minded hypocrites. If you are a free spirit/open minded person such as myself, you will become a recluse in this community. The positive side is, if you like the Church thing, there's plenty of that there. Snow fall is equivalent to a fairy dusting now and then. Can get very hot in the summers, all flat land, no trees for shade. Greenville is a part of Tornado Alley so you have to buy a shelter, get a house with a basement, or some other means of safety. People are very nice here, altho I find it is just to be nosey. If you sit out on your porch, it isn't long till a neighbor will come out, to converse and gossip about the neighbor on the other side.. Everyone seems to know everyone's business here. Some good things, you about an hour or so from Mammoth Cave. Not too far from Holiday World either, which is a nice Amusment Park in Indiana, great for the kids. Offers free sun screen and soft drinks all day.An hour and a half from Nashville if you would like to check out the country muusic scene. Not a lot of shopping, most ppl go to Madisonville, Owensboro or Bowling Green for that. You got lots of options. Owensboro had a festival every weekend of Mother's day for great Barbq. Lots of good hunting and fishing. Lots to do, if you make it to the car to go without a neighbor interrogating you. Rend is decent. Got a great two bedroom house for 450 a month, but again, lots of them owned by Christian folks with a fixation on turning you into a Christian as well. The schools here are top notch, the Convention Center is excellent place to swim, work out, learn MMA. A lot of ppl go to Evansville or Bowling Greene for the night life. Ppl mostly work in the Coal Industry, Mining and such. Delta Faucet isn't too far and there is a Chicken Factory (Tyson or Purdue farms, I can't remember.) Pretty place, just strange ppl. This is a place where you go to work during the week, but go to a town or two over on the weekends to let your hair loose.
