A Great Place to Live -
3/12/2020We moved here for an early retirement just over a year ago. The people have been extremely friendly, the cost of living and housing is very low, and the weather is fantastic if you don't like cold and snow.
Dothan has a lot to do-there's a civic center, farmers market downtown in the summer, mardi gras events, parks, recreation, and the annual Peanut Festival.
You're just over an hour away from the beach, but far enough away so hurricanes and cost of living aren't an issue.
Everyone has made us feel welcome.
