11/15/2012The West Houston area is growing very fast and there are GREAT schools in Katy ISD. Two new hospitals have been built in the past couple of years, Medical center at Memorial is huge and growing. West Houston is slated to become the medical center west, with another hospital due to break ground in a couple of years.
Katy has 4 high schools ranked in the top high schools list in the country, out of 8.
Anyone who says we don't have theater, museums, music, or authentic food must not be looking too hard. We have all of those and the rodeo (which I ignore).

11/15/2012Because Houston did not experience the huge housing bubble of the other major metropolitan areas, we also did not experience a huge crash.
You can still buy a home in the $100,000 range, never have to shovel your driveway, have a backyard pool, and enjoy great schools, great access to the top doctors in the country, and any art or entertainment your heart desires.
With two major aiports Houston is just hours away from any city in North America, and the great beaches of Mexico and the caribbean
