Arkadelphia, AR
Very small town, but you can make it fun -
5/24/2021I attended Henderson State University which is one of the two colleges in Arkadelphia. I came from a different town in Arkansas that had much more to do, so Arkadelphia was a HUGE change for me. The town doesn't have much of anything, just basics (grocery stores, restaurants, small downtown stores). One of the greatest things about Arkansas is our lakes, and there is about three right down the road from Arkadelphia. I ended up switching colleges because the town was just a little too small for me. If you are going to Arkadelphia for college, I highly recommend getting involved on campus or with a group of friends. They will make your time here much more enjoyable! Also, Hot Springs is one of the bigger towns in Arkansas, and it isn't a far drive from Arkadelphia!
Bryant, AR
Great place to call home -
3/8/2021I've lived here my whole life, and I've loved every second of it! Bryant is a close community and a great small town to call home. The schools are good, also. Bryant itself has plenty of shopping and restaurants, but it is only a small drive from Little Rock which has much more to see and do. If you're look to settle in a comfortable small town, you'd love Bryant!
