7/23/2007For those of you who have an above-median salary, and don't mind commuting BY CAR for employment & university education, Vernon is the place for you. If you like to play golf, we've got golf courses EVERYWHERE. If you ski, mountain-bike, snowboard, hike, hunt, or fish, this is the place for you! If you prefer level roads for biking, we don't have that here. If you're looking for all-night diners---not here. If you prefer to commute via mass-transit, you can drive 10-25 miles to a bus-stop; but you may not find a parking spot! If you can tolerate your taxes rapidly increasing, your roads getting more congested, and your property rights getting more restricted, then: Vernon is the Perfect Match for you!
