Long Barn, CA - 7/22/2013
You really can't consider Long Barn a town anymore. It's more a community, since we haven't had a restaurant or store for about 20 years. We do have a post office, motel and in winter the only ice skating rink beyond Yosemite! It's very peaceful and quiet. A beautiful mountain community to raise children (we raised our 2). It's close to Pinecrest Lake - one of the most beautiful lakes and my personal favorite! Skiing at Dodge Ridge Ski Area is only 20 minutes away! What more could you ask for! I love it and have lived here for 32 years!
