What makes it great to live in Sacramento... - 6/19/2007
Location, location, location. It is hard to understand until you get here that Squaw Valley is less than two hours (97 miles) away and Cakebread Cellars is one hour (61 miles) away... from your house in Sacramento. I cannot think of a better location in terms of accessing recreational opportunities in California, and where a house is actually affordable... Realistically, access to San Francisco is severely limited by gridlock, so fulfilling cultural needs is not as simple as hopping in a car and driving the 90 miles to SF...
