6/18/2009I just logged on to find a place close to work as I am a transplant from out-of-state. I want to believe that anyone-- black or white-- want to protect their property investments and families from damage and danger. It would be better in my opinion if there was not a brick wall between Detroit and Grosse Pointe. However, until vandalism, breaking and entering, and other crimes cease to exist, there will be a physical and mental wall between Detroit and Grosse Pointe. Besides, I lived in a gated community in Detroit with African American professionals, doctors, and lawyers and they couldn't even handle the amount of car break-ins on the lot...not to mention the violence and robberies that take place at Wayne State University. New Baltimore, Kyle, gimme a break. I am unemployed from an auto manufacturer and cannot find a job. What I have I've worked hard for I should be able to protect from anyone who wants to destroy or seal.
