4/20/2017We fell in love with Florence on a visit last year, and we bought our house a month later. The town is so friendly and beautiful. Yes, there is plenty of rain - but there is so much to do and see, and there are lots of sunny days too.

4/20/2017I'm sorry you feel that way about Florence. We moved here in February but had purchased our home last year and been up from California to visit many times. We don't see a lot of homeless - especially begging - and we have found this town to be very friendly. I can't imagine living in Portland or going back to California.
