Cohoes Schools -
7/7/2008My children have done so well in Cohoes. My one daughter is currently enrolled in Abram Lansing Elementary. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful, and there is a low student to teacher ratio, which makes for lots of personal attention.
My other daugher is enrolled in the Middle School. Their philosophy up there is one of patience, no yelling or degrading the kids, but they are strict and run a tight ship. My daughter has had great success there, and they really keep the parents up to date.
The school system all the way through has Edline, which is a program for parents to monitor homework every single day, test grades, etc. It's a great tool.
