Love the Sierra Nevada Mountains -
12/13/20181 hr from Sacramento; 1 hour from Lake Tahoe on Hwy 50. Close to skiing, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, biking - if you love outdoor activities that make you sweat, this is the place for you. B r e a t h e fresh pine-scented air. Not too cold in the winter; and not too hot in the summer. Home buyer's hint: Pick a location on a south facing slope. You can still buy a house for under $300K. Just enough snow to make it interesting; but not a burden. ~ 80% of the time you will enjoy a white Christmas. CVS, a 24hr Safeway, choice of restaurants, PIZZA - Good schools. Good hospital in Placerville - 30 minutes. NO TRAFFIC. What is not to like?
