7/21/2020agreed on 2). i-40 /old 85 freeway is trash. 5 highways signed on it, dangerous interchanges at the 220 and 29 splits (south and north), and at martin luther king st. ..... lots of bad roads in town, with harsh bumps that blow tires.
even burlington and winston have better roads/ easier more navigable highways
Reidsville, NC
a nice quiet town. northern suburb of greensboro -
4/2/2020everyone is amicable here. way less hustle and bustle than greensboro/winston, and everyone welcomes you.
also way less road rage.
cost of living/rent is lower compared to bigger cities like greensboro/winston, and a bit cheaper than burlington
the outer-lying neighborhoods of reidsville are country-like and beautiful with rolling meadows and farms (williamsburg, wentworth, monroeton/browns summit)
could use more things to do. most of shopping/entertainment is either near scales st in the downtown area or on Freeway Drive (NC 87). same with big businesses (only a handful near 29)
but decent for a town its size.
** but, Interstate 785 is coming, so great things in store for reidsville's future

areas along us 29, NORTH of cone blvd (brown summit, mcleansville, reedy fork, summit avenue
forest oaks area (mill point rd, 421 and southeast middle), as well as pleasant garden
west wendover from here to high point
west i-40 ex. 217 down towards kernersville
west gate city,
west market
