Great Place to Live!! - 10/29/2008
The western U.P. is amazing. There's the obvious attractions like ski areas and the world's tallest fiberglass Native American statue, but walking on the shores of Lake Superior is definitely a good substitute for an ocean and, if you like winter sports, there's never a worry! We don't have those sloppy, melty, grey winters. We get a ton of snow and we have the cross country ski areas (and other winter sport areas) to take advantage of it!
