3/30/2009Just south of northeast Ohio's notorious snow belt, Chagrin Falls is a livable city, described by one person as the only college town without a college, although Kent State, Cleveland State, and Case Western Reserve University are nearby. Transplants from the East Coast chose Chagrin Falls because it is the community in NE Ohio that most closely resembles what they left.
Actually a village, Chagrin Fallstakes pride in its arts and culture offerings, including a mini "Chautauqua" program, the Chagrin Valley Little Theater, the Valley Arts Center, and the Fairmount Center for the Performing Arts.
Finally the village is plum smack in the center of the highest average per capita income families in the state of Ohio.
