Delaware is not the best for home prices -
7/2/2018Delaware touts LOW TAXES. While this is true, Delaware is WAY overpriced for home values. I live in NJ which has outrageous property taxes. However, my 2550 sq. ft. home sells for $275,000 in a very nice location of south jersey. In DE, that same home is $550,000, and even costlier closer to the beach. DE lists bi-levels built in the 1970's for $300K. Those same homes in NJ are $150K. What you save in taxes in DE kills you on home prices. So what's the difference? You still pay the same monthly payment.

High Taxes -
5/12/2013Family has lived in Williamstown since 1986 and property taxes have increased dramatically. Weather is pretty decent, lots of restaurants in the general area. Good schools,especially for kids with autism issues. Other than taxes, a great town to live in.
