Life in Fowler, CA -
8/13/2012Fowler,CA is a little town 15 minutes from Fresno,CA. We have a very small population I would guess around 5,000 people. The weather in Fowler is not to bad except for the summer, it can be very hot, like 112 degress hot! I love it here, I love the small town feel! The people from Fowler are all very nice. We have 4 great schools and amazing teachers. I hope you dont like shopping because Fowler has very little places to shop, but dont worry because Fresno ( a huge city) is only 15 minutes away. The crime rate is very low, you dont see any "thugs" walking around, I have never seen any homeless folks around either. Cost of living in fowler is on the higher end, to rent a 3 bedroom home it will cost you between 1,000 - 1,500 a month not including utilites. water and trash is $24.00 a month, my water bill for a 3 bedroom house is $46.00 a month (less in winter) gas and electricity during summer will run you around $250.00-$300.00 bucks!!!
