Cottonwood, CA a charming historic town -
3/9/2010The wife and I moved here from the S.F. Bay Area and find quaint Cottonwood is a little slice of Heaven. I love to walk the dog down to Cottonwood "creek" or the Sacramento River in the evenings. Lots of gorgious open views. VERY nice neighbors and feeling of community.
The Sperling population figures seem a little off. The county line goes through town, so the 4,000 or so folks in Lake California do not show up on the stats. The local ranches do not show up as "Cottonwood" either. There should be close to 15,000 in this zip. Thousands of people drive through on 1-5 everyday- it is a great place for anyone serving the traveler.
