Beautiful mountains -
12/29/2020Before moving to Prescott Valley I lived in Phoenix 30 years and watched Prescott Valley go from basically a few little mom and pop stores on the main road to Prescott to the booming town it is now now.
It's growing fast. People from other states are finding this gem among the mountains and new home developments are popping up everywhere.
It's beautiful here and I think most people take pride in our town and keep it clean.
If your looking for lush green yards with big green trees this may not be the place for you. Although we have four mild seasons, most yards and landscaping are desert landscapped with lots of rock.
We don't have much for shopping but that's true for any smaller town.
Traffic is horrible. We have two main roads and all the smaller, surrounding communities come here. People from Phoenix come here, especially in the summer to get away from the heat which adds to the traffic.
We don't have sidewalks or many street lights in the neighhoods.
Even with the traffic, growth and no sidewalks, I find it peaceful and people here are friendly.
