Thank you Nancy for your review of Eliz. CO. I am considering moving there this summer and wonder whether you know whether the pollution from Denver ever drifts into Eliz. If it's not something you would notice either way do you know who I may contact that would know this? Thanks, Catherine, AZ

Snowflake Weather - 5/2/2009
Snowflake is in the White Mountains of Arizona at ~5700'. Winter temp can get as low as -5 at night but always warms up at least 20-30 degrees during the day. Lots of sunshine here. Summer can get over 100* but not much and it always cools down ~30* at night and during the rainy season daytime temps can stay around 60-70* on or after a rain day. Spring winds are considered, by most people, to be the biggest challenge with gusts getting up to 60mph some days. The dry and sunny climate attracts many who are fleeing mold allergies and/or SAD syndrome and feel best in sunny climates.
