1/1/2017Gilbert hate crimes do exist. There are many types of discrimination also! In fact, I am Mormon and the first week at Mesquite my son was welcome by the Deacon's leader Connor. This was done by calling my son a fag and kicking my son in the privates in the gym until he fell to the ground from repeated kicks to the groin area. Additionally, Gilbert schools is so terrible if you are single. I have been called "MRS" at least 20 times. Their attitude is completely backwards. I am the breadwinner. I make 6 figs. I am single. While at work, a teacher called me - insisted on a meeting about homework. My ex actually fields these calls/request for this particular boy. We have informed the school multiple times. I told them I would not meet them about homework, call the dad and don't bother me at work. The teacher called CPS! The truth was I was leaving the country on business and could NOT meet them anyway! If one parent is available, why bother both? It was a crossword puzzle. My belief is they don't understand professional parents. You know... being they took the easy way out by getting an education degree. As for the schools, the fox is watching the hen house. The schools get away with all but murder. We discovered Donna Tow at Harris Elementary was having him remove articles of clothing while alone with him in their sessions. I complained to DOE but they said behavior was the district. I called the superintendent and principal with no response. This is absolutely unacceptable. Be careful if your child is one in need.
