Bullhead City, AZ
Worst place -
7/19/2018 I moved here about a year ago. I have lived in many towns and cities, from Evanston Wyoming to Phoenix Arizona and places in between. Bullhead city is by far the worst I've had the unpleasure to live in. If you have kids of any age really, there is almost nothing for them to do here. The people that live here are cranky old people that try to get in your business as soon as they see you. The traffic is bad. The cleanliness of the city is bad, worse then Phoenix Arizona. The country side is a fantastic view of one type of bush (creosote), sand/dirt and rocks. With Mountains around with only rocks on them. If you happen to see a tree it's usually small. The people that do live here are not very intelligent and look like trailer trash. Why people come to this place to vacation is beyond my comprehension when there are many way way better places to vacation. If the state of Arizona had an a**hole it would be bullhead city. The shopping choices are a variety of 4 major retailers. Walmart, target, kohls, sears. Then for shopping for groceries there's smiths, Safeway, Walmart, and recently smart and final. Other then that it's all online shopping if you even have the package delivered to you. The post office here is the worst. They have delivered packages to the wrong address, lost them, and have lost outgoing mail. For an overall year of using this post office a total of 6 packages/mail have been lost. 4 being delivered 2 being outgoing. The school systems are just straight up retarded. Closed campus's and are made to wear uniforms or special t-shirts only even at public schools. There are some people here who don't even know how to read. I am by no means a rocket scientist but the people here make me feel like one. The common sense level here is almost non existent. Everything is spread out. The population is only 39,000 but to get from side of town to the next takes almost an hour depending on the traffic and time of year. Population sky rockets with dumb a** who flock here for vacation and the town goes from 39,000 to sometimes over 200,000 in the summer. The wind sucks here and if you wear contacts or have eye problems is the worst place to be. Every time I check the weather the temp is always equal or higher then that of Death Valley. So pretty if there was a hell on earth the gates start at Death Valley and bullhead city is the pit of fire. So if I could give a half star for bullhead city I would. The down town is 1 building the camber of commerce. No little downtown strip you get with normal towns with little shops or restaurants, nope the little building of chamber of commerce is the "down town". I came here due to my job but in a year I'm transferring to get out of this hell hole. If your not into casinos and a Latina ridden river system then I would highly recommend to save the self abuse and drive straight through bullhead without stopping. Don't even get gas here. It's cheap yes if you can even get a open or working pump. The boaters and RV drivers like to find the smallest gas stations and take forever at the pumps instead of having consideration for others and going 2 miles further to a bigger gas station. The consideration level here is also non existent. All you old people here can keep your P.O.S. want to be city.
