4/4/2017DO NOT MOVE TO KNOXVILLE! I have lived here 22 years & while the people here have manners & will smile and say "Hi" you WILL NOT make friends here! My 21 y.o. daughter has 1 friend and she was born here. If you like bible thumping, clannish, narrow minded rednecks you will probably luv it here. I have started meetup groups, dating venues, volunteering, etc. and the people I have met have no interest in developing friendships. My neighborhood is full of hillbillies who think shooting at trees & cans is fun. The only good thing I can say about this assinine town is the cost of living is cheap. Oh, yea I forgot to mention that this town has more churches than ANY city of this size!
