I am married with two grown children and now a new grandson to enjoy. I have been a realtor since 1986, and I live in Talbott, TN now. I grew up in Croton, NY, and lived in Florida for 26 years. After the hurricanes and selling a restaurant business we came to Tennessee first buying a cabin in Pigeon Forge area, and then buying a mini farm in Talbott. I have just started working in real estate here, and am enjoying our new home and the area. And, I love Cherokee lake and enjoy jet skiing there. We are near to Panther Creek State Park, and I hope to bring my horses there to ride the trails soon. It is more peaceful here in Tennessee, and it's nice to have a little change of seasons. Oh, and when spring comes around the blooming trees and plants are something really beautiful to see.

Quality of Life - 7/14/2008
I find Talbott to be a nice place to live. It's not too busy on the roads or in the stores. We have most stores you might need and are not too far to larger cities such as Knoxville. The scenery is beautiful, and the people are friendly. We have beautiful lakes all around.

The Weather in Talbott 37877 - 6/10/2008
It's just right for me. Warm in the summer, with mild winters. We had snow this past winter that was maybe 3/4 inch at a time, but it was gone in a few hours. Just in time for me to take some pretty pictures. We have some humid days in the summer, but not too many and it cools off at night. I find in the winter it can be 30 degrees in the early morning and be 70 in the afternoon.
