Very Small Town Next to a Very Large City -
3/21/2007A small town with all the things a small town offers but being next to a very large city all that a large city has to offer. Schools are among the best in the country. The high schools offer the choice of Magnet Schools, Traditional Schools, Montessori Schools, and Magnet Career Academy. The Elementary Schools have the programs necessary to provide the students with the course of study to prepare them for the afro mentioned programs.
All of the High School programs mentioned offer Advanced Programs for college credit. Students can take advantage of these programs to college credit for their High School work.
State Universities in the area include University of Louisville and Indiana University SouthEast, By special arrangement between the states of Kentucky and Indiana students from the area can attend UofL or IUS and pay the in-state tuition rates.
