A great place to live -
4/30/2007We moved here from the Chicago area in 1992 and I absolutely love living here. This is a small city, but everyone knows everyone and we look out for one another. This community is quiet and very peaceful, not to mention it is one of the most beautiful places to live. The only draw back here is that the closest place to really shop is 40 miles away in Russelville, and finding a job usually requires a commute of anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes. There is no public transportation, of course, so a dependable vehicle is a must. However, if you are looking for small town life with all the peace, friendliness, and safety this is the place to be.
