3/3/2011Doe I would love to trade places with you. I live in CT and its been around 20 degrees since November. We have had over of eighty inches of snow and I haven't taken my kids outside to play in over 4 months. Every month I get an oil bill that is over $600 to het my house. My snow plow contractor has charged me close to $500 this year to shovel snow. Even when the weather gets warm sometime around July our beaches are polluted and there are no activities. We are the 3rd highest taxed state in the country. Gasoline is $4 per gallon and jobs are not easy to come by. At least when it is hot during the day you can venture out in the evening or early morning. When it is cold during the day it is even colder in the morning and at night. When you think it is OK to go out in the spring, the pollen is so bad that you start coughing your brains out. The weatherman recommend keeping all your windows closed and not to go outside. Take a look at the air quality comparision for Boca and all of CT in Sperling. You will be astonished at what excellent air quality you have. Stay put, most northerners are starting to fiqure it out and the population growth explosion will start again into Florida.
