Ararat, PA

Ararat Township - 2/3/2009
We moved to Ararat Township from Annapolis, Maryland in June 2008 and we love it here! We live on a farm in the country. The peaceful life is for us. My children are loving the small town atmosphere. We are away from the competitive do better than the Jones nature of the big city. My children play outside in all seasons. They love the snow. They are having adventures that they've never had before. We plan on starting an organic vegetable garden this spring so that our children can see that potatoes actually come from a plant! The schools are great and we have the best bus driver in the world who smiles and picks us up at the end of the driveway. She even brings treats for the kids on Fridays. We definitely upgraded our house when we sold in Annapolis and bought here. We had a small cape cod in Maryland and now own our dream home on 130 acres. Although it takes us awhile to drive to the store, the peaceful country life is for us!
