growing city -
7/29/2009powderly is the city in which i was born in, an i wouln't want to live any where else.it's a place where you still have neighbors, proven, when we had the tornado,in2008 and the ice storm last winter.our city is growing,we have the nature walking trail,coppercreek shopping center two stip malls,the medical center also the county convention center which is in powderly and we have the merl travis theater and paradise park plus the city has just finished a new community center, which is open to everyone.we are still working on the city park, which will have a playground for the kids and a outdoor theater for everone.powderly also is the birthplace of james best[ rosco p.coltrain] of dukes of hazard fame.also we have ten churches of different denominations, so you want have any excuse.
