8/27/2015Ran across your information about Manzanita Oregon. Everything seems spot on and very helpful. The cost of living, housing-wise, is not a bargain. One might find a better deal in nearby Nehalem or Wheeler, both charming with the feel of original beach towns. Most work opportunity is related to the tourism or construction industry.
Other than those items, Manzanita is wonderful. A whopping three grocery stores (one is a natural food store), coffee shops, a book store, bakery, other wonderful shops and eateries, all within a stunning setting on a beautiful seven mile beach at the foot of Neahkahnie Mountain. It's a great place!
