10/7/2014If you've not moved already, I would recommend Knoxville. I am a transplant myself and couldn't be happier. We have festivals galore, greenways for cycling, Norris Lake for boating (awesome) and all the above you mentioned you could wish for. Sure it's going to be different from where you came from but there is so much enjoyment to be had here. I am a Realtor, please feel free to contact me if I can assist you! elizabeth.deboxtel@crye-leike.com Good Luck!

10/7/2014My opinion is that Knoxville has so much to offer to all types of people. If you love to cycle/walk/run, we have great greenways. Have a boat? I can't begin to talk about all the great areas you can explore by boat...Norris Lake is my favorite. Pull your boat right up to the marinas for food and entertainment. Whether you are single or have a family, there is something for everyone. Market Square in downtown Knoxville and The Old City are definitely worth a visit. Night life is great as well. Movies on Market Square, Boomsday (google that), Mardi Growl, Biscuit Festivals, Chili Cook off, Rossini Festival and soo much more! Also we have Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg within a short distance. No boredom to be had here. There is always something going on in AND around Knoxville that you are sure to find plenty of life out there within a short distance.
