Just another city that has been sold and lost its - 4/16/2021
When I moved to this city, it had changed greatly compared to when I was a child. The city council and Mayors have sold the soul of this city in the name of progress. Traffic is a nightmare and so is the housing market. The city continues to expand at the expense of the infrastructure and water supply. The roads are terribly maintained , the police force are reactive and only arrive after an accident happened. Traffic violations are increasing and so is crime. You can't go one day without hearing about violence, automobile accidents or a shooting. The city prides itself for being an inclusive city, when in fact the city is divided not by race but by economic standing. The political establishment don't care about the older parts of town they only care about the new housing area and the money that brings in to fund the cities expenses and programs. Than of course if you are of a minority and want to experience non-verbal racism than hang out around Woodmen to Monument and just walk around in the stores.
